How to Find Your Bill Forwarding Email in Xero

Learn how to locate your Xero bills forwarding email so Sanso can automatically send your bills and receipts to Xero.

Step 1 - Go to the Bills Page in Xero

  1. Log in to your Xero account.

  2. In the top navigation bar, click Purchases.

  3. In the dropdown, select Bills.

You’ll land on the Bills page.

Step 2 - Locate Your Forwarding Email Address & Copy the Address

Click on "New Bill", and Xero displays your unique bills-forwarding email address.
It looks something like:

Click Copy to copy the address.

This is the email address where Xero expects your invoices and receipts to be forwarded.

Step 3 - Paste the Address Into Sanso

Go back to your Sanso Email AutoCollect setup and paste this Xero forwarding email into the field email in two possible places

  1. During onboarding
    Paste the Xero forwarding email into the Email field.

  2. From your dashboard
    If you’re already onboarded, you can update the forwarding email directly from the "Finance Tool" settings.
